Over the past three years, with the challenges of the worldwide pandemic and
lockdowns, I saw the opportunity to revisit some favourite places within Tasmania
that I hadn’t been to for sometime and consequently to create some fresh works
of the revisited landscape.
In addition, I also found this to be a timely opportunity to pursue some new ideas
in my painting practice, that I had been contemplating for some time. This has
resulted in the Reimagined Series of paintings, four of which are in this
exhibition.
